The objective of my vision for Ghost’s brand is to embody the mystery of the “Holy Spirit” – one of three aspects of the Triune Godhead of the Christian faith. At the same time, the client did not want it to be so removed from traditional representation as to be unrecognizable.

I started with traditional representations of the Spirit, a dove, a flame, a movement over the water, and distilled them into a logo mark that helped to embody all characteristics in an exciting new package. Dropping “Holy” from “Holy Ghost” also gave the brand an edginess that helped appeal to a younger generation of listeners.

Ghost Influencer Gear

A key strategy for Ghost is engaging Instagram influencers in the category who have a strong following and engaging them with Ghost swag and encouraging them to post on Ghost’s behalf.

Taking out booths at Christian music festivals is also an excellent opportunity for promotion of the Ghost brand.
